Rx For Life

As breast cancer awareness month rolls around, we at Triple Pink are getting so excited about Rx For Life (or Routine eXaminations for Life).  Rx for Life is a 3-day workshop that educates college women about breast cancer (with a focus on triple negative breast cancer) and the importance of self breast examinations.  Triple Pink is partnering with SHAPE, a college peer education group, to launch the program at Spelman College on October 3.  The first workshop will be held October 4-6.

Thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone who has supported Triple Pink over the past year!  This workshop is what we've been working towards to help generate awareness among younger women that breast cancer isn't simply a disease that impacts older women.  Helping younger women and other at-risk populations understand that they are responsible for their monitoring their breast health will increase early detection and help save lives.  We couldn't have launched this great program without the business partners, volunteers and donors who support Triple Pink, and we are looking forward to launching the workshop on additional college campuses in the future.
